Introducing the HIROSHIGE ‘夜渡’ Yowatari — a creation adapted from an ukiyo-e artwork by Utagawa Hiroshige IV, whose work carried forward the atmospheric tradition of the Hiroshige lineage.

The artwork that inspires ‘夜渡’ Yowatari depicts a graceful beauty carrying a paper lantern during an evening stroll, as the sky gradually darkens with the fading light of day. This scene unfolds across the strap, where the silhouette of the figure contrasts against a warm brown upper and textured ivory base. The transition between these two tones is carefully bridged with hand stitching that echoes the rhythm of traditional Japanese craft, adding depth and character to the composition.
Printed onto carefully selected leather and finished by hand, each strap carries subtle variations that reflect the artisanal process behind it. Over time, the leather develops a natural patina, allowing the artwork and material to age gracefully together.
The new HIROSHIGE ‘夜渡’ Yowatari is priced at US$249. Each strap comes with an Apple Watch adaptor, allowing it to be worn seamlessly on both Apple Watch and traditional timepieces.
The strap measures 20mm at the lugs and 16mm at the buckle, proportioned to complement fine mechanical watches.
Deliveries will start from mid-July onwards.

This tariff percentage is subject to change as and when announced by the current US Administration, and does not include 'reciprocal tariffs' which have been suspended for 90 days. This may be on top of any existing state or federal consumption taxes and charges. These new tariffs and any other charges will be paid directly by you to our delivery partner DHL on fulfilment. Hiroshige will not collect such tariffs and charges from you upfront. Due to the limited nature of the watch, Hiroshige orders cannot be cancelled, returned, nor refunded.
